Nancey Watson, B.Ed., President of NL Watson Consulting Inc, consults with professional services firms on business development initiatives as well as offers training and coaching on growth strategies, proposals, and bid presentations.

Nancey has been a guest speaker for staff retreats and professional services industry conferences and seminars, including those of the Legal Marketing Association, Toronto Chapter, Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and American Marketing Association. Between 2008-2012, she acted as the Membership Committee Chair and Board Member for the Legal Marketing Association, Toronto Chapter.

Competitor and market research has been a mainstay for her success in helping firms win proposals and identify prospects. Using primary and secondary research methodologies to analyse information using Client Relationship Management (CRM) or other tools is the trademark of her success.


Before starting her own consulting firm, Nancey was an employee with some of Canada’s leading professional services firms (KPMG, PwC, Hatch Mott MacDonald, Dentons LLP, formerly Fraser Milner Casgrain) developing proposal processes and databases to create best practices proposal centres of excellence. She has a successful track record of winning proposals from $30,000 to in excess of $1 billion in the public and private sector, including P3s.
